A Whiteboard Exercise (also referred to as Drawing Exercise) is part of the interview process for some tech roles and requires you to use a drawing tool for real-time visualization. If this is required as part of the interview process for the role that you're in progress for, you'll be notified and provided with instructions by your Recruiting Coordinator with time to prepare. You can also reach out to them directly for clarification.
If a particular whiteboarding tool is recommended for your interview, your recruiting team will let you know. However, you are always welcome to use whichever you are most comfortable with. Here are a list of recommended of options:
Alternatively, you may use a physical whiteboard or paper/marker visible to your interview via webcam.
If you prefer a computer-based whiteboarding tool, you will be asked to share your screen with the interviewers. If you choose this option, please try it out and get comfortable with the tool prior to your interview. Please also ensure that you do not have anything personal or private open when sharing your screen. We recommend having paper and a marker handy in case of technical difficulties.
